Michaela Chaloupková, ČEZ Group

Michaela Chaloupková graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of West Bohemia and holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Since 2003 she has been working for ČEZ, where she joined as a sales officer in purchasing. She gradually worked her way up to the position of director of the administration division, which includes HR, asset and vehicle management for the ČEZ Group. She also holds the position of chief sustainability officer and is responsible for managing the ESG agenda in the ČEZ Group. In October 2011, she became the only female member of the board of directors of ČEZ, a. s. Michaela has personally experienced not only the executive but also every management level in the corporate hierarchy and has extensive experience in the operations of large corporations. In 2012, she appeared for the first time in the ranking of the top 25 women in Czech business, in which she has regularly occupied the top positions since then. She also regularly appears in the Forbes 50 Most Influential Women in the Czech Republic list. Since November 2023, she has been a member of the presidium of the Czech Business Council for Sustainable Development. She is also currently involved in mentoring and coaching in the Odyssey program supporting female managerial talent, the British Chamber of Commerce mentoring program and especially in the corporate environment, where she supports the development and growth of many women and men.
