Olga Pleyer is a graduate of the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, with a specialty in chemistry and technology of fuels and the environment. Her interest in research and innovation has led her to defend her dissertation this fall on the topic of “Production of Advanced Biofuels Using F-T Synthesis”, an area of increasing importance in the context of sustainable development and greenhouse-gas mitigation. She moved from the academics of fuel to coolants and oils at the company Classic Oil, where she has been working as a development and sustainability specialist for two years.
